What’s Up

Hello! It’s been way too long since I’ve posted anything as I’ve been making it through my first post Christmas and pre-Valentines Day rush. Plus finishing up taxes, which most definitely is my least favorite part of owning a business. Not to mentioning working in Seattle three days a week has made my entire life much more complicated.

Luckily I’m the kind of person who can never sit still and if by chance I do actually sit down, I have to be doing something constantly. So my normal level of multi tasking has increased exponentially…

Since the last post I also celebrated my sweet husbands Birthday in February. I love him so much and appreciate all of his help with Frawn and keeping the house running when I’m traveling and making pieces. I’m so lucky to be married to my best friend!

I took him out to Clyde Common for some yummy food and then got him a very special gift… If you love good coffee but don’t want to buy an espresso maker, you should try the Aeropress. It works with suction and is extremely easy to clean. Most importantly it makes rich yet smooth coffee even with plain old office coffee. It’s so good!!!

The other part of the birthday celebration was snowshoeing on Mt. Hood. We love the outdoors but never want to spend the money to rent the ski gear and go on the lifts. But snowshoes are only $10 to rent and there are tons of wonderful trails that are free. So now we are hooked and since we are more into being outside than speed it’s become the perfect winter sport for us. If only we could bring our little dog…

I’ll be posting some of the new painted pieces soon and announcing the summer festivals as I find out about them. Come on spring!

Please check out the new pieces on my Frawn Etsy site:

The newest item that I have made a couple of times as a custom order is now offered on etsy. It’s the wood name tag that is on an 18″ gunmetal chain.

Where Am I?
