Kitkitdizzi is Open for Business

Collaborators: Kira Westly, Jen Sheffield, Nikiya Schwarz

Earlier this year when I was still working half of the week in Seattle, I met a soon to be shop owner at the Zeitgeist coffee house in downtown Seattle. Jen Scheffield had found my jewelry at the Radish Underground while visiting Portland to gather merchandise for her shop opening in Nevada City, California. We chatted over coffee and she bought a lovely array of earrings to take back home as samples. Later, Jen placed an order for some beautiful kitkitdizze logo pieces as well as some painted geometric items.

The shop opened this summer and is described on their website as ‘a working studio, a home made of art, a variety store where nothing is mass-produced and everything is chosen with care. Independently designed and executed art, artifact, and finery made by the new generation of artisan and gathered most curatiously in Nevada City California for your local pleasure’.

It’s an honor to be in such a beautiful shop and I just wish I could swing by for a visit! Luckily they have a website that showcases their products along with an online store. Click here to check out their web site. Here are some samples:

These blue sky Portland bridge earrings were a huge hit at the Mississippi Street Fair. I’ll be adding these to Etsy soon:
