If you enjoy waking up at 3:00 am, throngs of grumpy strangers standing way to close to you, and crazy long lines, then you can ignore this blog post. But if you have no interest in partaking in the scene I just mentioned you should shop at the LITTLE BOXES event in Portland. On November 25th from 10:00am – 8:00pm, 70 lovely boutiques will offer you unique gifts options for the holidays as well as a chance to enter a sweet raffle. Prizes include an iPad, tickets to OVO by Cirque du Soleil, $200 to Wildwood Restaurant and so many more. Plus, you will get 10% off at one Little Box for showing a receipt from another Little Box.

Some of my favorite stores are participating in this event including Radish Underground, Presents of Mind, Manifesto, PedX Shoes, Icon Tattoo, Modo Boutique, Etcetera, Salty Teacup, and Betsy and Iya. Here is a link to the list of shops:

Also, I am having a Thanksgiving week sale from Nov. 21 – Nov. 25th. Go to the Frawn etsy site (the link is on the main blog page) to get the coupon code, Happy Thanksgiving!!

Butter Home in Seattle is Selling Frawn Jewelry

If you know me at all, you know that I love butter. I’m a huge fan because I love to cook so I know that it truly is the magic ingredient in everything that is delicious and wonderful. Whether it’s a biscuit (my personal favorite), a flaky pie crust, or a moist chocolate chip cookie, it’s the butter that makes it so amazing. As a kid, I loved butter so much that I used to scoop a chunk out of the table butter with my finger when no one was looking…seriously!

Well the magic of the butter holds true in regards to the Butter Home shop at the Melrose Market on Capitol Hill in Seattle. This lovely shop perched on the second level of the market welcomes you with soft light and hosts a wide range of unique jewelry, home decor, and vintage and reclaimed goods. It is a modest space, that has so many layers of treasures beautifully displayed, you need to look in every corner to make sure that you don’t miss something. Here is a link to their web site and some images of their merchandise below:
